Ansomat illustrates his journey in De Tijd, a story about:
Getting the children on board the family business is the silent wish of many entrepreneurs. But when John Van Parys founded Ansomat in 1996, he made that dream quite explicit. The name of his company, a specialist in custom-made tools for assembly companies, is a contraction of the names of his two children: An-Sofie (33) and Mathieu (31). More than 25 years later, they are steering East Flemish Ansomat in a new direction. While Van Parys used to book 80 percent of his turnover with the sale of professional tools and screwing systems for the automotive sector, software is now the buzzword in Mariakerke, near Ghent.
