Rami Yokota and Ansomat combine fastening technology with application expertise for controlled industrial assembly. Within our Rami Yokota offering, we focus on controlled fastening tools and pulse technology, providing solutions for applications where accuracy, productivity, ergonomics and traceability are important.
Yokota has extensive experience in impulse technology, developing tools that combine high fastening speed with low vibration, low sound and virtually no kick-back. Ansomat helps select and integrate the right Yokota solution according to the fastening process, required torque and production environment.
Yokota controlled fastening systems are designed for production environments where simply tightening a bolt is not enough. Torque and angle data can be monitored throughout the fastening process, helping manufacturers control fastening quality and identify NOK results.
Depending on the application, Yokota systems can be integrated into the wider production environment for process control and traceability. This makes them particularly relevant for repetitive industrial assembly where every fastening operation needs to be performed according to a defined process.
| Specification | Yokota |

| Process control | Programmable fastening |
| Traceability | Tightening data available |
| Application | Controlled industrial assembly |
Yokota's system technology supports monitoring and evaluation of the fastening process, including tightening data and OK/NOK evaluation for production control.
Pulse technology is one of Yokota's key strengths. Rather than applying torque continuously, the tool transfers energy to the fastener through a series of short hydraulic impulses. This provides high fastening speed with very low reaction force, improving ergonomics in repetitive assembly.
For Ansomat's Yokota offering, this includes both cabled E-Wrench solutions and cordless system tools. Both provide torque and angle monitoring without requiring a reaction device.
| Specification | Cable Pulse Tool | Battery Pulse Tool |
| Tool | E-Wrench | Cordless System Wrench |
| Covering range | 3–90 Nm | 5–80 Nm |
| Version | Pistol | Pistol |
| Number of presets | 16 | 16 |
| Drive | Transducerized Pulsing | Transducerized Pulsing |
| Reaction device needed? | No | No |
| Monitoring | Torque & Angle data | Torque & Angle data |
| Communication | Open Protocol | Open Protocol |
| Controller | YETC series | YS-Z series |

The main advantage is ergonomics: Yokota's impulse principle provides virtually no kick-back, while controlled versions retain the torque and angle monitoring required for production fastening.
